Important Rules When Working with Candles

  • The candle must be made of 100% natural wax! Only a natural material, filled with its own power, sunlight, and life, can truly serve as an energy conduit.

  • Always light candles with matches, not lighters! In magic, the principle of naturalness is vital. Matches are a natural source of fire.

  • Never blow out candles! Remember: when you invite the energy of fire to help you and then blow it out, you use the energy of air. Since ancient times, this was considered an insult to the Element. To extinguish a candle, use a special snuffer or any metal item like a thimble or spoon.
